Llevamos mi nieta para comprar un traje para el día de fotos en la escuela mi nieta necesitaba usar el vaño y fue discriminada por una empleada llamada Jasmin saco la niña de la puerta del vaño cuando era una emergencia usar el vaño fue muy grosera y mi nieta quedó traumatizada por qué no pudo hacer sus necesidades pero jamás volveré ahí era una clienta fiel a esa tienda

I made two trips to the store in the past two weeks for my son's back-to-school shopping. I encountered issues while trying to place an order on the website, so I decided to visit the physical store. Despite being a loyal customer, I was disappointed with the in-store experience. The sales staff, despite having few customers in the store, were unhelpful, unfriendly, and displayed poor attitudes. It seems that my experience is not unique based on the online reviews I have read here as well.

I visited this location to browse the new styles and make a few purchases for my toddler. Upon entering I was not offered any assistance and when I circled back to the front of the store, I was met by an older white woman sales representative that did not appear to be friendly. I asked her if there were any sales and she said astounded, "Sales.?" I reiterated what I had asked her and she said, "I am asking you." I said why are you asking me a question, you should be responding to my question. She was very rude and attempted to change her poor attitude mid sentence, but by then it was too late and the damage was already done. How can I purchase anything when the employees confront customers in a hostile and combative manner? Is courtesy, friendliness and professionalism too much to ask for?

I hope this message finds you well. I recently had an experience at your store that I feel compelled to share. While I have generally been satisfied with your products, my most recent visit was unfortunately marred by an encounter with one of your employees, Jasmin.

During my visit, Jasmin displayed a level of rudeness towards my daughter that I found highly distressing. Her behavior seemed not only unprofessional but also discriminatory, leaving both my daughter and me feeling unwelcome in your store. I believe that such behavior is not representative of the values Janie and Jack stands for.

I understand that employees can have bad days, but I feel it's crucial to address instances of discrimination and rudeness promptly. I kindly request that you investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that your customers have a positive and inclusive experience at Janie and Jack.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope that by bringing this to your awareness, steps can be taken to rectify the situation and maintain the reputation of Janie and Jack as a customer-friendly brand.

If I could give ZERO stars I would..to the Janie and Jack, 1150 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10065..
My 4 year old and I went to buy a couple dresses because she had picture day and some Easter events coming up. My daughter said “ mommy I have to pee”
I asked an employee if there was a bathroom available. She said no not for the clients I said please my daughter has to urine. She said yes because it was a FOUR year old.
As we approached to the bathroom which was located in the stock room. She was opening the door as I was getting READY to go inside an employee name JASMINE screams MISS KAROL your not suppose to let no one in. I understand completely the rules and regulations…. I GET IT!!!! BUT HOW DO YOU DENID A FOUR YEAR OLD CHILD A BATHROOM!!!! I asked her AGAIN is for my child please.straight forward NO “I'm sorry” YOUR “SORRY” WHAT ARE YOU sorry about that my four year old have to urine on herself you piece of GARBAGE!!!!! .
Overall, Completely disappointed. I USUALLY shop a lot at this store I never had a horrific experience. HERE is the worst PART my daughter said “mommy that lady was not nice” you caused an entire uncomfortable conversation with my child. I felt completely disgusted and discriminated by JASMINE we were light skin and she was Dark skin.
They will NEVER see a DIME!! From my friends and family. I Will do all my shopping ONLINE. This store can CLOSE DOWN or have a staff change. ASAP. Never had a horrible experience in my life AT A CHILD STORE!!!!!!!! My child ended up peeing on herself and me going to Starbucks bathroom to Change her outfit.

I gave 1 star for the store on 1150 3rd Ave. I love Jane and Jack since I had a daughter and discovered jane and jack on line I've been buying since. Never have I been into one of their stores before. I went yesterday, March 29 2024. Let me tell you how petty Associate Jenisa was. A flower headband they reserve for was literally dirty and look like it was wiped on the floor. So I saw it and went to pick another that even had a tag on it. Now i get to the register to finalize my purchase as I was doing so she kept switching the dirty one for the clean one and tells me there the same. You know I let her have it. Now I walk out of the store. Do you know she still places the dirty headband back in my bag and takes the clean. Something said, "Look inside before you take another step, and when I did, she did exactly what her dirty self looked like. I was appalled. I never experienced no dum sh.. like that.

It’s a cute store to quickly buy clothes for little ones - new born to 5 year old - I love it for gifts! Such high quality and elegant dresses for little girls!

Been shopping at this store for years. Since 2015 to be exact. I recently had an issue with an order I placed in store where I was given the wrong information. I called in and was placed on several long holds by a woman who claimed to be the manager. She was so rude and nasty and in no way accommodating. A lot of the information she claimed she was not able to provide I found in no time. She clearly did not want to look or had an compassion for the fact that my daughters graduation is on Monday and my package is time sensitive. I'll keep shopping online but won't be visiting this store anymore because a woman such as this manager makes it so easy for you to come out of character. I hope corporate see's this. I asked her , her name 3 times before she hung up on me and she never provided her name. Just a number for customer service. The old manager was AMAZING. I don't know who this new manager is or if she's even a manager but she needs to be put back in training. I'm annoyed that there isn't a 0 stars option.
