Great prices, friendly staff and as long as you have clothes for children that are gently warn or brand new they will buy them. They sell name brand stuff for half the price as a retail store and I'm grateful that I stopped there yesterday because my kids didn't want to tell me they didn't like the stuff I was buying them so instead they decided they were going to just keep it in their dresser. Now I feel better knowing that another kid can have brand new name brand clothes that actually wear them.

You want like new stuff for your baby or toddler at used prices? This place is awesome and extremely cheap, and they'll even buy your used kids stuff if they put grow it or you just don't want it anymore. But don't expect to get a lot for which makes sense because they sell their stuff in more than a fair price. You are literally wasting money. If you go anywhere else for your kids clothing I highly recommend this place. It's nice, clean people that work there have good attitudes. It's a good atmosphere A+++++++

Love the place will always keep going. It’s good to have options for people to have namebrand clothes for cheaper. Can’t afford it. I wish they’d go down a little bit on prices but hey, it’s better than the normal prices at stores. I love that they have donate and get the money or put it as credit to keep buying and trading clothes. That’s really cool and then the discounts they give it times as well.

I have loved this place for years. It is still gonna be my absolute favorite place but here's why I'm disappointed in them. I bought a diaper genie and a play yard. Amongst other items. The diaper genie was broken. The footstep mechanism did not work so the diapers never went down into the shoot And the play that I bought had a huge hole in the mesh along the bottom hardly noticeable until you get home the play yard was $50. The diver was 6.50 and when I returned the items they literally restocked them for that I'm disappointed in this business like I said, I'm still gonna shop here

Used to be a great place to take all your baby clothes and toys. Now the staff seems to have a bad attitude towards the customers and very picky with what they will take. I have noticed that depending on the time of day you will get staff members who are nice and will be willing to take more but it's becoming far and few these days.

I used to love shopping at once upon a child In Springfield, and had resorted to the Columbia location after moving. Now, just to go in I get a headache. Most of their stuff is really rough looking, shoes especially. Certain sizes are either understocked or way overstocked. The store never usually looks organized so I was surprised to see it cleaned out today. I've also bought things from them that I've changed my mind on, and tried to sell back with the price tag on and have had them turned down which makes no sense to me.
I've sold to them a lot of times just to get rid of things but I no longer feel like even that is worth it. Countless times we've gone in with name brand shoes that have never even been worn and we've gotten close to nothing for them. Nice name brand clothes are turned away for "condition or season" and then I'm walking around seeing really torn down/wrinkly clothes.
We had gone in today with hardly used items such as a walker, wooden push walker, a bike, and a brand new baby chair that included toys and they wanted to pay $3 a piece for the items we spent a total of almost $200. I couldn't even believe it.
I did go to find my son some shorts because he's in need of some and I found that as usual the 3T section was almost empty unless you were looking for winter clothes. The one pair of Nike shorts I saw were close to $8 and that was ridiculous. I could find a brand new pair at Ross or home goods for less. I've decided we just won't go back. I like the idea of once upon a child, but I don't feel like it's right. They sell for WAY more than they give. Some of the girls there are also pretty rude. I've never really encountered anyone who didn't seem annoyed to be there. I hope they do better in the future because it's gotten a bit ridiculous.

Once Upon A Child is a must for any parent (unless you have silly-rich relatives who fully outfit your kiddos)! We have shopped for our kids in 11 different states and countless stores, and this is our go-to.

The store is always clean and well organized. The staff are friendly and helpful. The necessities are always in stock and seasonal items appear…well, with the seasons.

We get our kids their daily wear, snow gear, swimsuits, sports equipment, and even some books and games at a fraction of cost of retail stores and still in perfectly good quality!
