Why waste the money on signage when there is no retail store to shop. The products could be shipped from the compound in Ohio and would probably sell better since it's the primary training location. I placed an online order on Friday and had to remind them via email six days later that I have been waiting to pick up the order. This is an online business only. Why add shipping when you could increase the item price to cover shipping costs and offer "free shipping". It works for Amazon... Just trying to help you out Dave...

The Pathfinder School which is run by SRO in SE Ohio is outstanding. I have taken 2 courses, my wife 1 - and are attending another in the near future. The knowledge and depth of care as it relates to learning that the instructors provide is 10/10 worth every penny. They are absolute professionals and excellent at what they do. Sign yourself up, forget the office, keeping track of politics (they are very apolitical at the school), etc etc for the weekend and learn some useful skills.

I thought I'd swing by to spend some money, I didn't honestly expect to see you here... but I did think I'd see somebody. You cant really leave honest reviews on their products on the website. It goes through a different website for "product reviews" ... was going to leave an actual review on their website but theres no way to do that... box was smashed on arrival and marked from the USPS as damaged upon pickup. if this is how the products come from this place i think i would rather not deal with them and deal with anyone else who takes more care with products being sent to customers. Luckily this package wasnt fragile and hopefully wasnt damaged due to the box being smashed....

If something isn’t right or doesn’t perform as expected, they have customer service second to none. This is a family owned and operated business located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their line of outdoor cooking gear, especially their stainless steel line, is very affordable and the perfect companion for cooking great meals in camp. They have a YouTube channel where instructors demonstrate the use of their gear in the field and offer quick tips to help make your outings more enjoyable.

Bushcraft 101
I highly recommend this course. All the instructors were phenomenal. The environment was great, clean and plenty of foliage. Dave was there and involved and is humble as can be and treats everyone with respect unlike many famous people. I plan on taking as many courses as possible, and learning from all the AMAZING instructors these guys at S.R.O. are truly awesome.

What an amazing company. Without going through the whole story I can say that I had an issue with an order of equipment that was caused not by the Self Reliance but by the shipping company. But SR stepped up and saved our Xmas. I highly recommend them. Wonderful people. I can’t thank them enough.

All Items are of great quality and are, "as- advertised." IF however you ever need their customer service(?), they are exceptional !!! I have made four purchases "packages" from them and only had a concern about one specific item. They sent me a return envelope and promptly sent me a warranty replacement. Take comfort in knowing that they care about their customers. Kudos to a great group of people! Highly recommended!
