Our family loves Muksut! They speak many languages there including Finnish, Spanish, English and German. Also the group is small, they do fun and creative activities, they go every day to park once or twice, the staff is very lovely and most importantly our child loves to go there every morning ❤️

One of our sons 1,5 years old - 3,5 has stayed at Muskut for almost 2 years and it has been a great experience for him and for us. The staff is great, they are very responsive and helpful, they care about the children and take them out twice a day to a playground.
Another huge advantage is the drop off and pick up. You can drop your children off early in the morning (08:15 if I remember correctly) but also later and they are equally as flexible with the pick up, up until 18:00. On certain public holidays Muskut remains open, but we didn't use that service.
Finally we as parents also made some good friends that we are still in contact with, and the owner can also make birthday cakes, what else do you wish for 🙂

I highly recommend Muksut!!

Can recommend! Our two children were in their care for over a year. They were well taken care of, and it was clear that the staff genuinely cared. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The child-centered approach was evident, and an extra bonus was the multilingual environment: Finnish, English, Spanish...

As well as working at Muksut, my son also comes on occasion and although he doesn’t know it as well as the others he fits right in and he loves it when he can come! I can say from being a parent and working here that the kids are so happy, looked after and enjoy the time they have with us!

Our daughter has been a part of this exceptional kindergarten program since she was just 6 months old, and as she approaches 3 years, it has not only become a second home for her but also for us. Our plan is to continue this remarkable journey for at least another year.

What distinguishes this kindergarten is the incredible freedom afforded to the children. Daily walks are more than just routine; they serve as valuable lessons in street etiquette and understanding signal lights—a thoughtful touch that we truly appreciate. These outdoor activities contribute to the children's overall well-being, helping prevent the spread of viruses, resulting in fewer illnesses. Additionally, the provision of healthy snacks every two hours, consisting of freshly cut fruits and vegetables, promotes sharing and adds a delightful aspect to the daily routine.

The commitment to nurturing independence is clear, as our daughter adeptly develops essential skills like self-feeding, sleeping, pacifier removal, and potty training. Sylvia, leveraging her substantial experience in children's education, has been instrumental in guiding not only our daughter but also offering support to our family through the challenges associated with these developmental milestones.

The expansive and pleasing design of the school fosters a lively and nurturing atmosphere, providing both indoor and outdoor spaces, complete with a sand pit, for children to engage in play. The diverse range of activities, such as music, movement, dance, and singing, plays a crucial role in enhancing our daughter's overall development.

The kindergarten's dedication to linguistic diversity has left a positive impression on us. Our daughter's exposure to various languages, especially English, is a source of joy, and we attribute this to the school's inclusive approach.

A standout feature is the respect for each child's individuality, allowing them to follow their preferences during playtime and activities, fostering autonomy and joy in learning.

The simplicity of requirements, limited to just nappies, adds to the overall convenience. The flexible start and finish hours, ranging from 8:15 to 6, are a rare find and perfectly suit our dynamic schedule. Even during the summer, the kindergarten maintains its quality care.

While the app may not always be up-to-date, it reflects the staff's dedication to spending more quality time with the children rather than being constantly tied to their phones. However, any feedback about nap, eating, or behavior is promptly provided by each teacher upon request.

In summary, our journey with Muksut has been nothing short of exceptional. The combination of thoughtful teaching methods, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of the children truly sets this place apart. We award it a well-deserved 5-star rating without any doubt.

Our son stayed at this private kindergarten from July to December 2023. They accept children from 4 months to 6 years old. Ours was 6 months old when we started and they assured us they knew how to take care of small babies.

We liked the concept, all the children are playing in the same room, going all together to the park. There is no age distinction and they are all treated equally. The education is some kind of a play-based approach, they can play when they want or sleep when they need to.

Sadly, from the beginning, we experienced some problems with the care of our son until reaching an unfortunate event that let us no choice than to pull him out.

- Lack of hygiene: multiple times we picked him up at the end of the day with the tooshie completely red and burnt because he was not changed in time. Once, he was screaming in pain until we could understand the problem. I saw they applied talc so they obviously knew, but didn't say anything to us. Also, he was always given to us at the end of the day with the face full of food, sand or soil. We had to wash his face and hands first thing coming home.
- Lack of communication: They have an app with few information like the daily dish and the nap hours. Sometimes they just forgot to stop the timer and it seemed that the baby was sleeping for 5 hours. We had to interrogate them every day to know the bare minimum: did he eat, sleep? For older children who can communicate with their parents I suppose it's not a problem, but for a baby this age we need to know more of his life.
- And last but not least, he was burnt to the second degree on his leg due to their negligence. They told us he managed to get hold of a tumbler of hot tea, open it and poor it over his leg. He was 11 months old at that time, it's still a mystery how a baby that age can grab a tumbler and unscrew it. We had to go to the emergency and apply treatment for 2 weeks. He will certainly have a scar.

Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this kindergarten, I don't think it is suited for small babies. It's a shame because the concept is interesting but it doesn't seem like a safe environment.
