I absolutely love this place. I’ve been a regular for 3 years now and plan to come here whenever I want professional service. Rob is a knowledgeable, professional, and friendly owner who is always glad to see me. His prices are fair and he carries only stock that he believes in. The teachers there are also amazing. I’ve had both Nick and Connor as teachers, and both were amazing, patient, and brilliant. Whenever I needed to make a change to my lessons, Rob was able to make a change (unless it was the very last minute, which was understandable).In short, it’s a place I always look forward to going to.

I feel fortunate that we have such a great guitar shop on the north side of town. Rob stocks great gear at all price points and makes great recommendations based on what you’re looking for.

They’ve got a great team of music teachers for private lessons, and not just for beginners - I played guitar for over 10 years on and off before I started classes there. Sure, I could play some cool licks before, but now I’m developing skills to be a well rounded musician (shout out to Nick).

As of writing, they partner with LRC Guitars for luthier work which is another win. I’ve had a lot of talented folks in the area work on my guitars and basses over the years, but the team at LRC delivers the most consistently detailed work, and with fair pricing. You can drop off and pick up from the R & R shop - right off the Longwood I-4 exit, super convenient.

If you play music or aspire to play music, stop by the shop. You won’t get the same experience at a big box store.

R & R Guitars is a great place to buy a guitar in town. Trent helped us out. He is very friendly and professional. They carry a good variety of guitars. Trent explained different brands and features of the instruments. Their pricing is very competitive, and it’s good that we could try a few before we narrow down our choice. I like supporting local businesses, and they will be there when the guitar needs maintenance. Definitely recommending R & R for my friends and family.

I had some time to kill one late afternoon and ambled into R&R Guitars. What a joy to be a real guitar shop again! The guys were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their products. And so tolerant to listen to this old guy tell his stories and pick a banjo! This store is absolutely on my radar and I will certainly be back.

This is a nice shop. Super nice owner, knowledgeable, with great product, major brands and custom stuff. Perfectly clean atmosphere for instruments. All the usual accessories. He has several rooms there for lessons in various instruments: guitar, bass, piano, drums, etc. My son takes ukulele and loves his teacher.

Great local shop with knowledgeable and helpful owner. He was very helpful in selecting the right guitar for my wife’s son. I feel like it’s a place where people can just hang out with out feeling pressured, it’s real laid back but also with a high end feeling. We got way better service here than with guitar center when we went and no one even said hi to us.
